3/15 Blogspot

1) I think something like that could potentially happen. Although it probably increase efficiency, it would be really compromising for personal security, privacy, and real life interactions.

2) I am having a really hard time getting started... Mostly because I'm not completely sure what all I need on the website. Also the time limit is really restricting. Over the break I'm going to finish my paper and also look at examples of websites dealing with music and promotion to get some ideas. I'll have to go work in the lab a few days before the website is due in order to finish it before the due date.

3) I need help creating additonal pages and linking them to the home. Also graphics and videos will probably be really important in my website so I'm going to need some help importing and formatting those.

Web

Web: The web was created in 1989. The Web actually exists as a global system of servers that supports specially formatted files written in a code that links them together. Many of the files contain graphics, audio, and/or video. The Web is a hypertext system that you navigate by clicking on links. It seems that the original format of the web was subject to less user influence.

Web 2.0: Web 2.0 was introduced in 2005 and designed to be more interactive and user-based. Because of this, social networking, sharing and collaborating has become a lot easier and more convenient. I think that this form of the web made connecting easier, but at the cost of a lot of personal privacy.

Web 3.0 is the upcoming format of the web and centralizes on ubiquitous and seamless interaction of all web-enabled devices through "cloud" based computing. This will allow the web to be more accessible, organized, and personalized for users.

Although the web is becoming highly integrated into daily lives, and can be highly beneficial in many ways, I think that such expansive access to information, both general and personal, will compromise a lot of personal privacy. Also I think it will intrude on interpersonal interactions in real life.

Coding

A) Coding can be really fun if you have a proper understanding of the language. Of course learning the language can be tedious, but that's the same for any language. Once you have mastered it however you have opened a whole new world of communication and expression.

B) Coding helped me understand the backbone of a website. It will be a little easier to understand dreamweaver and website creation now.

C) Having a basic understanding of coding will help me in editing the code in dreamweaver so that I can make my website look like the intended design.

D) Maybe someday, if I develop a greater interest.
